Richard D. O'Connor, Attorney Emeritus

Dick

Richard O’Connor, now retired, was a former Shareholder in the Firm and one of its founding partners in 1967. Several years prior he was a litigator specializing in civil trial work with a prominent Hartford firm. He was principally engaged in labor and employment law on behalf of management, educational law, and hospital law; and litigation involving employment, education, commercial, and construction law.

Dick was appointed to the Governor’s panel for the resolution of educational disputes. He was the Regional Coordinator for the National Manufacturers Association Committee on Labor Reform, a member of the Magistrate’s Reappointment Review Committee for the United States District Court, and an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association in commercial and labor matters.
